Welcome!
Thank you for checking us out! The Spring Festival is an annual event full of activities for young and o ld alike brought to you by the dedicated organizations of Westborough. Now in its fifth year, the festival is bigger and better than ever with a full weekend of activities. The Festival continues to grow and improves every year and we want YOU to come over and have fun with us!
This year the Westborough Civic Club has accepted the responsibility for running the fishing program. The “Fishing Challenge”, the new name for this event which should prove to be very descriptive, will again be held at the town reservoir at Minute Man Park out on Upton Road.
The Civic Club intends on making this a great event and a real challenge for fisherman of all ages. Prizes will be offered for fish with the greatest length regardless of species (no ties, fish of record must be beat) in three age groups including:
- Junior (under 11 years old)
- Youth (11 - 18 years old) <license required if 15 years old or older>
- Adult (over 18 years old)
Each age group will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize with a Grand Prize for the largest fish overall (the Grand Prize winner receives the Grand Prize only). Proof of age would be appreciated. Fisherman must be registered to win. Children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Registration for the Fishing Challenge is free. For those who are generous, the Club will be accepting donations at the registration desk.
