The Westborough Civic Club was organized in 1975 for the sole purpose of benefiting the Town of Westborough and its residents . The Club is comprised of civic-minded men and women from all walks of life who derive satisfaction through personal participation in fund raising
activities in a dynamic, social, community-based organization. New members are always welcome. Join us!
The Club’s primary fund raising activity is the sale of Christmas
Trees each year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Members do all the work (with a little help from our friends), including: ordering materials and stock, setting up the tree lot, handling thousands of trees and wreaths, tree sales and clean-up. It's a real team effort and a lot of hard work. Westborough and surrounding communities look forward to the tree lot set-up as the signal that the holiday season has begun and Santa will soon be here!

Santa always
shows up with a little something for the
elfs on the East Main Street Christmas
tree lot.
Civic
Club meetings are held on the first and
third Tuesday of each month (excluding
the summer months and December) between
7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Cheng Du
Restaurant on route 9 in Westborough.
The meetings include dinner and
conversation in an informal atmosphere.
The first meeting of the month features
a speaker, with the purpose of informing
Club members on local current events,
matters of general interest
or presenting a request for funding. The
second meeting of each month is devoted
to Club business including discussions
on funding requests.
The Club holds a membership appreciation dinner each year in January following “tree season” and the holidays. The dinner is held at various local establishments.
Membership dues are $12.00 per year.
